“The SourcePoint 10-fronted rig was dead quiet, ultra-dynamic, sensuous, and satisfying. I want my own SourcePoint 10s!”

- Ken Micallef, Stereophile Magazine

The heart of the SourcePoint 10 is the innovative Twin-Drive high-flux neodymium magnet system.

It is not enough to simply optimize the frequency response of the woofer and tweeter. It is also critically important to minimize distortion in the motor structure of the drive unit. If the motor has distortion, it will generate new frequencies outside of the original signal. We have been very deliberate with the design of the motor to reduce these distortions.

The Twin-Drive system creates a fully symmetrical magnetic field, eliminating flux modulation for extremely low intermodulation distortion (IMD). This technical achievement is an important part of why the SourcePoint 10 sounds so pure and accurate. No, it won’t power your time-traveling DeLorean, but it will deliver the performance you’ve been searching for.

Master Phono
$5995.00

Peter Madnick designed state of the art phono stage with superb flexibility

The Master Phono Preamplifier has both current-mode and voltage-mode inputs. In Madnick's words, "This allows you to plug in a low-impedance cartridge without needing to fuss with cartridge loading." If none of the voltage input's 10 loading presets work with your cartridge, you can opt for the special RCA jacks that allow you to add your own resistance and capacitance.

The front panel includes meters that, in conjunction with selectable tests, allow you to optimize cartridge alignment. The unit's power supply sits in a special chamber in the front of the unit, separated from the analog amplification section by noise-defeating galvanic isolation?

  • Three selectable inputs: Two Voltage inputs and One Current Source
  • Single-ended RCA and Balanced XLR inputs and outputs
  • Dual-chassis construction isolates power supply and audio circuits separately
  • Switchable Gain 40db/50db/60db/70db
  • 10 position loading adjustments, including "Custom" via RCA plug
  • Stereo/mono switch, High pass filter switch
  • Left and Right meters for output monitoring and calibration purposes
  • Software upgradeable via USB to add new updates and features
  • Includes Remote Control

MasterDeck turntable
$5995.00
MoFI's masterpiece turntable is designed to compete with 5 figure competition. It is a State of the Art 3 speed design with superb 10" dual pivot Carbon Fiber hybrid Uni-pivot tonearm. It is a perfect mate to the Master Phono stage for a state of the art combination.

The MasterDeck achieves precision playback in part with an optically regulated speed controller using a three-phase brushless DC drive motor, housed in an isolated container. Fine speed adjustments are available for 33, 45 and 78 RPM and are displayed on a four-digit display. The 1.75 inch thick platter is a high mass hybrid material constructed exclusively from Aluminum and Delrin. This platter sits atop an ultra-high quality Encapsulated Spiral Groove inverted bearing. Isolation from both environmental noise and feedback is accomplished by effectively floating the MasterDeck using custom Harmonic Resolution Systems (HRS) Isolation Feet. Finally, with respect to “functional” cosmetics, a solid wood frame, in either Walnut or Black Ash finish, is wrapped around a constrained-layer body of wood and aluminum to eliminate all resonances. A compelling feature of the MasterDeck is an “all new” Dual-pivot carbon-fiber 10 inch tonearm that offers the best balance of precision, control and friction-free tracking. This tonearm uses a removable headshell and allows for the optimization of virtually any cartridge by facilitating  adjustable horizontal angle (azimuth), vertical tracking angle (VTA), overhang and anti-skate. As well, all internal tonearm wiring is provided by Cardas Audio.

MoFi Electronics MasterDeck Significant Design Features:

  • 33.33 / 45 / 78 RPM belt drive turntable
  • Unique and highly adjustable 10-inch hybrid tonearm design  1.75-inch aluminium and Delrin platter

  • 33-1/3 / 45.0 RPM belt drive turntable
  • Custom design and manufactured in the USA
  • 10-inch MoFi Ultra Tonearm
  • 1.3-inch Delrin® platter
  • Isolated 300 RPM AC synchronous motor
  • Anti-Vibration feet designed by HRS

Deemed an "instant classic" by The Absolute Sound, UltraDeck+ immediately stands out via its super-sturdy, unshakable physicality that includes a 1.3-inch Delrin platter – 75 percent thicker than that on Mobile Fidelity's StudioDeck model – that delivers deep-black backgrounds and a fantastically low noise floor. Delrin is chosen due to its natural impedance match with vinyl. Speaking of being made for LPs: UltraDeck+'s 300RPM isolated AC synchronous motor offers excellent speed stability for stellar pitch accuracy and rhythmic drive. Better still, UltraDeck+'s constrained layer dampening build – comprised of three aluminum plates bonded to the MDF body – adds extra mass, eliminates coloration, and contributes to increased stability. It's just another way UltraDeck+ takes its purpose to the extreme.

Mobile Fidelity's engineering prowess extends to the custom-developed Ultra tonearm, a 10-inch straight aluminum gimbaled bearing design whose rigidity and tracking prowess translate into hyper-accurate information retrieval. Ultra tonearm also uses Cardas Audio wiring to maintain signal purity from the head shell leads all the way through the RCA connectors. Adjustable tracking force, VTA, azimuth, and anti-skate grant you limitless options for tweaks and adjustments. A hardened-steel inverted bearing system complete with sapphire materials provides UltraDeck+ wonderfully smooth, rotational stability while anti-vibration feet – co-developed with the engineering team at Harmonic Resolution Systems, the world leader in vibration isolation – further shield UltraDeck+ from disruptive resonances. Again, everything circles back to preserving the genuine sound locked in the grooves of your LPs. It's why Mobile Fidelity even outfits UltraDeck+ with high-quality gold-plated connectors shielded by a copper foil box to prevent airborne RF noise and, as a bonus, includes a removable, hinged dust cover to guard against debris when the 'table isn't spinning records.

The word “Ultra” is synonymous with Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's philosophy. It represents their extreme pursuit of the highest level of reproduction of recorded sound—beyond the status quo—to provide music lovers with the experience of hearing the Original Master Recording in their home. Whether you're enjoying a standard LP or one of their UltraDisc One-Step limited-edition records, UltraDeck will deliver faithful playback of what's in the grooves.

Custom-developed and manufactured in the USA, the 10-inch Ultra tonearm uses smooth, high-quality ball bearings for low friction in the vertical and horizontal plane so all you hear is what is in the grooves. Cardas Audio wiring maintains signal purity from the headshell leads all the way through to the high-quality, gold-plated RCA connectors.

The stepped-pulley AC motor provides excellent speed stability for pitch accuracy and rhythmic drive. The Delrin® pulley has two positions for 33 1/3 and 45 RPM speed selection. Motor vibrations are kept away from the platter and stylus by using advanced dampening materials that decouple the motor from the rest of the turntable.

UltraDeck features Constrained layer Dampening. Three aluminum plates carefully bonded to an MDF body to add mass and eliminate tonal coloration, maintaining the true sound found on the record.

The Ultra Deck also features Anti-Vibration feet by HRS, a massive 1.3 inch 6.8 pound Deltin platter and hardened-steel inverted bearing system for smooth, quiet rotational stability.

"The $999 MoFi StudioDeck looks, sounds and feels terrific -- and it’s made in the US."
"The StudioDeck's general composure was assured, very clean, clear, and it just went about its business of playing LPs without any hitches. Lesser turntables accentuate LP surface noise clicks and pops, the StudioDeck did not."
"The StudioDeck's isolation from external knocks is above average, so
my fist pounding on the shelf didn't disturb the turntable one bit."
