We do the following in our Level-1 mod [retrofit $495 + frt., preinstalled $750 + frt.]: • Add a custom-made low jitter clock • Change the inexpensive brass digital output to a high copper content WBT connector • Use high-quality silver hookup wire for the WBT • Add 2 Muse and 2 HFQ power supply capacitors to improve power supply stability • Add ERS cloth to reduce EMI/RFI • Add a pulse transformer to get the RCA output quieter and act like a balanced circuit. This both lowers noise and reduces ground loops. The modified unit now passes a much cleaner jitter-free signal to your DAC. It is one step closer to a perfect system.
